Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of 49 states of the United States (excluding Hawaii) and the District of Columbia. who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States ("VFW") and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, shareholders, representatives, officers, directors, agents, employees, volunteers, and posts (collectively, the “VFW Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Promotion or any prize awarded. The VFW Entities have not offered or sponsored this Promotion in any way.
Data Collection
By entering, you are providing your personal information to Mighty Loud Enterprises. You agree that Mighty Loud may share your information with the VFW and that Mighty Loud and the VFW may use your information in accordance with their individual Privacy Policies, which are found at https://www.mightyloud.com/privacy-policy and https://www.vfw.org/privacy-policy respectively, and which may be updated without notice from time to time.
Overview: The Post Open House Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is organized and administered by Mighty Loud Enterprises (“Mighty Loud” or “Sponsor”), available through participating VFW Posts only and offers participants the opportunity to win prizes through a series of random drawings, including two Grand Prize drawings. The Promotion supports awareness and fundraising efforts on behalf of the VFW and National Veterans Services.
Entry Period: The Promotion begins at 9:00 a.m. ET on January 19, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2026 (the Promotion Entry Period”), at individual VFW Post’s open house events during the sweepstakes period. Times are based on Sponsor’s official timekeeping system. The date and times of each open house event will be determined by the individual VFW posts.
Eligibility: Promotion is open only to legal residents of 49 states of the United States (excluding Hawaii), and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Mighty Loud, employees of VFW, and its posts and retailers, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, and promotional and other vendor agencies, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service agencies, independent contractors involved in the promotion, and the immediate family (parent, spouse, including common law spouse, sibling, child, grandparent, grandchild, regardless of where they reside) and household members of all such employees, are not eligible.
The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
Prizes:
All prize values in these Official Rules are stated in United States Dollars (USD). The following prizes are available in this Promotion:
1st Grand Prize (1): One (1) Bertello® 12” Outdoor Pizza Oven. ARV: $300
2nd Grand Prize (1): One (1) Tactical Trap HomeSafe Shelf. ARV: $300
Weekly Prizes (27): 2-3 items each week of VFW merchandise. Merchandise will include hats, t-shirts, totes, mugs, tumblers, pins, and medals. ARV $516.90
Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of All Prizes: $1,116.90
The ARV of any prize may vary, depending on applicable variables including without limitation, date, options, availability, industry, supply and/or seasonal fluctuations. If the actual value of any prize is less than the ARV stated above, winner shall not be entitled to any compensation or reimbursement for the difference.
With respect to any prize, none of Mighty Loud, VFW, or their respective affiliates or agents have made or will be responsible in any manner for any warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law. Prize components are subject to all terms and conditions thereon as well as any additional limitations or restrictions imposed by prize supplier or manufacturer.
Any images of any prize or prize components in advertising are for illustrative purposes only; actual items awarded as prize/prize components may differ from such images. Entrants agree that Released Parties (below) expressly disclaim all liability in conjunction therewith.
Odds: Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received for each prize drawing.
Limit one (1) Prize per person; Grand Prize winners must be from different posts. All prizes are subject to the sole discretion of Mighty Loud. All taxes, fees, costs, or other expenses or liabilities associated with any prize that are not expressly included in the prize descriptions above are the sole responsibility of each individual winner.
No substitution of any prize is offered, and no transfer of any prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash. Any portion of a prize not accepted by the winner will be forfeited. Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value in the event the published prizes are unavailable. Prize recipients will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prizes, and if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of any prizes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU WIN A PRIZE VALUED OVER $600 IN THIS PROMOTION OR HAVE PREVIOUSLY WON AND RECEIVED A PRIZE VALUED OVER $600 AWARDED BY MIGHTY LOUD OR THE VFW WITHIN 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE START OF THIS PROMOTION, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANY ADDITIONAL PRIZE VALUED OVER $600, IN ANY CURRENT PROMOTION.
How to Enter
On-Site Activation: To enter the Sweepstakes, participants must scan a QR code available at VFW posts or participating VFW locations during the Promotion Entry Period. Scanning the QR code will direct participants to the official sweepstakes entry form, which must be completed to enter the drawing. You will receive one (1) entry in this promotion for this initial registration entry. For each time during the Promotion Entry Period that you use a keyword to redeem entries in this promotion, you will receive one (1) entry in the promotion. No purchase is required to access the QR code, to obtain any keywords for additional entries or participate in the Sweepstakes.
Email Entry: Alternatively, participants can enter by sending an email to contestentry@mightyloud.org during the Promotion Entry Period with the following information: Contest Name (Post Open House), Full Name, Address, Date of Birth, Email Address, Phone Number. Each email submission will count as one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries (as outlined below) by using multiple/different email addresses or phone numbers, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries, and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being an authorized account holder.
Limitations on Entries: Limit maximum of twenty-five (25) entries per person and per email address, regardless of method of entry. Entries exceeding the maximum number of entries allowed will be disqualified. Any keyword can only be used once per person and per email address.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, incomplete, garbled, illegible, or incorrect entries. All entries must be submitted and received by Sponsor by 11:59 pm ET on the March 31, 2026 to be eligible for the respective drawing. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. All entries are subject to the “General Conditions” section below.
How to Win: Winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries. The weekly drawings will occur weekly on or around each Tuesday between January 13, 2026 through March 24, 2026. Weekly prizes are predetermined by Sponsor and 2-3 prizes per week will be drawn. Prize selection is not based on participant preference The Grand Prizes will be drawn on or around April 1, 2026. Each entry is eligible for one prize only.
Grand Prize winners will be notified by email, phone, or text message at the contact information provided at the time of entry and be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver, and, where legal, a Publicity Release (the “Declaration”). If a potential winner cannot be reached or fails to respond to the notification within 48 hours, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
Publicity Release: Except where prohibited, participation in this Promotion constitutes each winner’s consent to Mighty Loud’s and the VFW's and their respective agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
Disqualification of Winners: Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. Any potential Grand Prize winner who cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Declaration or provide any other requested information within the required time period (if applicable), forfeits their respective prize. In such case, Mighty Loud will attempt to verify an alternate winner by random drawing from among the remaining eligible entries. Mighty Loud, in its discretion, will conduct a minimum of three (3) alternate drawings (if necessary) as described above, but will endeavor, time permitting, to award the applicable prize(s), after which the applicable prize(s) may remain unawarded.
General Conditions: The following restrictions apply to the entire Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, or any event or cause beyond Sponsor’s control (e.g. events such as natural calamities, national emergencies, wide spread illnesses, declarations of war, acts of God, acts of terrorism) interferes with any aspect of the Promotion, including but not limited to fulfillment of the prize(s), as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance and may modify the prizes offered herein. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Promotion, if it is possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Liability Release: By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release and hold harmless Mighty Loud, Mighty Loud Enterprises, the VFW, and all of their respective affiliates, agents, subsidiaries, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to, personal injury or death that may arise from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, garbled, illegible, damaged or stolen entries; or (6) any injury, loss, claim, harm, cause, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize or portion of any Prize.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a state or federal court sitting in Cobb County, Georgia, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such venue for the purposes of litigating any such action; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion or the Prize, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Georgia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Georgia.
By registering, you hereby expressly and irrevocably waive all rights to trial by jury in any action or proceeding instituted relating in any way or arising in any way out of the Promotion. You further hereby expressly agree not to participate in a class action or other class-wide method for dispute resolution for any claims covered by these Official Rules. You may only resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations are not allowed.
All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any and all individuals (and their entries) who tamper with the entry process.
By participating in this Promotion and submitting an entry, you agree to receive by mail, email, phone call, or text message communications from Mighty Loud in the administration of this Promotion as well as communications from the VFW and any of its authorized posts, by mail, email, phone or text. If at any point you do not wish to receive such communications, including at time of entry, you may choose to opt out at any time. If you choose to opt out of communications from Mighty Loud during the pendency of this Promotion, you may forfeit your opportunity to win if we are unable to reach you.
